Beau Butler, Tate Hoskins & Colton Dowling to Co-Host GayVNs

**LOS ANGELES—** AVN Media Network is excited to announce that adult entertainment stars Beau Butler and Tate Hoskins along with accomplished stand-up comedian, writer and actor, Colton Dowling, will co-host the 2027 GayVN Awards sponsored by [JustFor.fans](https://justfor.fans). The premier event in the gay adult industry is scheduled for 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 21 at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas. The GayVN Awards will celebrate outstanding achievements in content production across 20 categories, along with 18 Fan Favorite awards. “We couldn't be more delighted to have Beau, Tate and Colton host the 2027 GayVNs—the biggest night in gay porn,” said AVN Media Network CEO Tony Rios. “We think this trio is the perfect ensemble to lead this celebration of our incredible community.” The all-star event is part of a week-long celebration of the industry that also includes the AVN Awards, AVN Adult Entertainment Expo (AEE), Adult Novelty Expo (ANE) and “O” Awards—in what will be a complete takeover of the Virgin Hotels Las Vegas property. The night will mark a full-circle moment for Butler, one of the most successful and popular superstars in the business. The performer is a multi-time winner and former Trophy Boy and presenter. “Celebrating gay porn, especially right now in today’s climate, is really important and powerful,” he says. “I’m so excited; I’ve really wanted to do this for a while. It’s sort of like our prom every year—we get to get together and dress up, and it’s nice to get attention when all the same people are in the room. Over his career, he has won a total of eight GayVN Awards. He also married husband Nick Butler during the 2024 AVN week in Las Vegas. “The last two years, me and my husband won Favorite Creator Couple. It was so cool just to have our relationship honored like that, especially by the fans, because he’s the love of my life. We get to brag about it to people,” Butler laughs. “I’m really excited to work with Tate and Colton, who’s so funny. We had so much fun shooting the promos, just non-stop laughing. We are going to be goofy as fuck—it’s gonna be a blast.” Kentucky native Hoskins started his social media presence in 2021 and “went from doing thirsty TikToks to exploring what the industry had to offer, and I have not looked back since. I took it by the horns and am riding it out.” He has amassed over 800,000 followers on X and is one of the most popular content creators in the industry. Hoskins got his first taste of the GayVN experience this January as a backstage interviewer during the ceremony. “I got to spend my birthday in Vegas this year, and I’ll be doing the same in January. It’s the perfect way to celebrate, so I’m excited. I was really intimated because a lot of people from studios were there, but everyone was so incredibly sweet and kind. They were so warm and welcoming,” he says. “It was the first time I had ever done anything like that. I got to talk to all the winners as they were coming off stage and were so excited. It was crazy, and so much fun. It went really well, and I was so happy that I was able to pull it off and make some cool connections.” Hoskins is also excited to be part of a movement that has started to bring even more people together. “I think that the industry is shifting to be more inclusive to non-studio creators, and I love that the GayVNs and AVNs are embracing that, and bringing everyone under the umbrella together. It’s important that everyone is aware of where the industry is going and what fans are looking for. We’re in the beginning stages of seeing these lines get blurred, and being a part of it is an honor.” [Hoskins](https://www.instagram.com/realtatehoskins/) says his role in January has prepared him well to take an even bigger stage in 2027. “I’m very grateful that I was able to experience the hustle and bustle of it all last year through a smaller lens backstage, because it gave me a greater context for what I would expect. There’s a little bit of nerves, but I feel way more comfortable having done it last (January). And after meeting Beau and Colton, who are both so goofy and creative, I’m so excited. I just did Colton’s podcast, and he’s such a sweet guy, so fun. We’re all gonna go for it and put on a great show.” [Dowling](https://www.instagram.com/coltondowling/)—who started his popular “Some of This Is Bad” podcast three years ago—is also well-versed with the GayVN Awards, having served as a writer for the last three ceremonies. “My brother is a doctor, my sister is an ergonomic engineer for the MLB…and I tell dick jokes,” he laughs. The triple-threat entertainer is a self-described “Army brat” who has lived in various cities across the United States and Europe. He has called Austin home for nearly a decade. “I stayed because stage time in Austin in 2017 was so much better than anywhere I’ve ever been. It’s called the live stage capital of the nation, so I was doing way more shows than I had in Los Angeles or Colorado.” In 2021, still in the heart of the pandemic, he opened up The Creek & The Cave comedy club, which he co-owns. “We were the first club back, and we’re doing pretty good. Then I started taking writing jobs and took the approach that I took in standup, which was very do-it-yourself—stop waiting for somebody to make something happen for you, and just make it.” That’s how his work with the GayVN Awards came about, and Dowling is thrilled to keep coming back. “I’ve always got more dick jokes,” he laughs. “It’s so much fun hanging around the GayVN people, I just love it over there. It’s interesting because before I was writing for other people’s voices, and now I also get to write for my voice. And getting to meet Tate and Beau was so much fun. I got to see their sense of humor, so that helps me write for them in their voice. This next show feels like it has a little bit more gravitas, where it’s not only the writing, but it’s the delivery as well.
